The cargo arrives via the sea transport. Shipment of cargo from the port is done via both the automotive and sea transport. Bauxites are transported to the port by the automotive transport to the terminal where they are loaded onto the vessels. Since automotive transport is one of the main logistical lines, the project accounts for the development of Benty — Dubreka highway (bypassing Conakry) and part of the road to connect with the highways of Sierra-Leone. The highway will allow sending cargo inland and to other countries of the continent. The development of a railroad line with the length of 200 kilometers is also projected. |
